Placed advert Thursday. Contacted same day by Mike with a view to coming out and quoting next day. Came on time priced the job on Friday and arranged to start work on the Tuesday. Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.

Nick and Conrad refurbished a full bathroom for us, and we’re very happy with the result. They gave great advice, like installing a pump for a high-pressure shower and rearranging the toilet and sink for better use of space. They were also very helpful in sourcing and installing needed parts. Unexpectedly, they also replaced the toilet in our second bathroom when it turned out to be necessary. Reliable, skilled, and thoughtful—highly recommended!

After 2 years the porch is sinking due to insufficient foundations. Builder Steve now refuses to contact me as he has moved to Spain. Unlikely. Buyers beware Steve will give you a good price but I would not use him again for any work requiring more than cosmetic.

David Rutter, the MD, was extremely co-operative and presented a quotation which was a model of clarity. The work, on an old and awkward roof was difficult, but he persisted, by extending his planned time at no extra charge and fixed the leaks, etc., very satisfactorily.

Luke was great - really communicative and did an excellent job. He & his brother were thorough yet quick. Also really flexible due to weather conditions. I would definately hire Luke again - really pleased with the result!

I would highly recommend Phillips roofing company. Reece runs his own company, he gave me a competitive quote and was happy to answer all my questions. I was looking for someone I could trust, who would be on time and most importantly do a professional job, this is exactly what you get from Reece. He was conscientious, cleared up properly and brought the job in on time. Even my builder asked for his number when he saw his work. All in all very happy.

I would highly recommend this company, working on an old cottage threw up a few unexpected problems along the way, A solution was found quickly and seemed to leave Steve unfazed. Steve and the lads were all very friendly, hardworking and polite. They were tidy workers and have done an excellent job, At last I have my dream kitchen which exceeds all my expectations. As a single woman you tend to feel a bit like a gazelle being stalked by lions when dealing with tradesmen. However Damien was professional from the outset which gave me some peace of mind. I was given an itemised quote without asking, which I appreciated. I am very pleased with the work carried out and would happily recommend him to my best friend. In fact, I have asked for business cards to pass on to others looking for a reliable plumber.

First class job of our fencing and building of our chicken enclosure. David was reliable, conscientious and trustworthy. He turned up when he said he would and completed the job in a timely manner. He also didn't charge the earth but gave a very fair price in my opinion. We would definitely use his services again.
