Unfortunately on two occasions now Grant has agreed to attend a job and not shown up. After the first time, I gave him the benefit of the doubt. That was a mistake. It’s a shame as he seems like a nice guy who does a good job, but if it’s reliable you’re after, I’d go elsewhere.

Valley Walling called round promptly and gave a good value quote to re point and tidy and seal the top of the wall. They told me exactly when they would start and finish the job. They kept to the timing and days working to the dot. Before they left they cleaned up using my hose for the stray bits of cement. Would recommend them for all outside building work. A great company to deal with, Lee helped with my architect and a meeting with the local council building inspector in order to design our bespoke project. There were several obstacles to overcome and the plans had to be changed several times but Lee guided us through them and provided support throughout. I would not hesitate to recommend this company as Lee went above and beyond providing us with an excellent service, keeping us informed at all times.

Keiran and his gang at Smith & Sons are a total disgrace. He demanded full payment upfront (which clearly funded his honeymoon), did the bare minimum, then vanished. No return, no refund, no shame. They’ve taken our money and run – pure theft, in my view. They hide behind multiple business names, which reeks of dishonesty and likely tax dodging. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t let them near a garden with a bargepole.
