Gareth responded to my job almost as soon as I posted it, and called to carry out the work within 3 days, despite having a busy schedule with other customers. He fitted some hooks in my garage walls and is obviously a perfectionist - he refitted one that he thought was not quite in the right place. Les , advised on a sensible cost effective solution to roof a large glass roofed conservatory , as it is attached to a listed building it took a while before we got the ok to go ahead , Les honoured the original quote and completed the work to a high standard , other possible suppliers did not have the experience/knowledge to suggest and work with us to overcome issues, like all good trades he is very busy and in the current climate patience is required , coffee helps , plus payment promptly ????

Kyle was very professional and fitted our worktops to a very high standard. He had a couple of technical issues to workaround due to the depth of some of our units but he had no problem sorting it out. I'd definitely recommend Kyle for any carpentry works.

Gareth turned up when he said and on time. Did the best he could with a tricky tiling job due to the type of tiles we chose. On the whole it looks great but wish he spent a bit more time on the job as the cut tiles look messy and the sockets don’t sit well on the tiles. It was a rushed finish and it shows.

Materials were paid for upfront which we were a little bit worried about at first but materials and team turned up at agreed time. Another payment was made halfway through and on completion as agreed. Darren completely transformed our run down mud bath garden into a lovely clean family garden that we all absolutely love. Darren is a friendly chap who just knuckles down and gets on with the job. He went above and beyond in our garden. Miracles really do happen with Sowerby slabs. Thanks Darren

You can see why Smith & Son get a good rating. You get a friendly builder that does a good job. We employed him to fit a steel beam and a door lintel. The site was tidied up on completion and advice was given about covering the beam and contacting building control. Thanks Ian and team, great job, thoroughly recommended.
