I couldn’t recommend Szilard (and his team) more highly. Very high attention to detail when painting and decorating and nothing is a problem. As well as decorating Szilard has moved sockets, light fittings, fixed shower screens, re-configured wardrobes to name but a few additional jobs that have arisen along the way. Andrew is a nice guy and does quality work, but for kitchen tiling I am afraid to say is very slow; approx 4 tiles per hour (100x200mm) or 0.8 sq m a day (10 hours). I personally (a diy'er) can do 15 tiles an hour - i.e. 4 times faster. £250 at day is expensive. (My electrician is £175 a day) I ended up capping the job at £600 and decided to complete tiling and grouting myself after 3 days. I would not have hired Andrew if I knew he was this slow and as a result expensive.

Kris from KPT Building was excellent. He was very prompt and worked quickly and neatly. He and a colleague took out our shower cubicle and fitted a new shower tray, replumbed the toilet and cleared a blocked pipe in the loft. It took less than 8 hours! He managed to salvage the old shower cubicle and refitted it perfectly. He was very efficient and we would highly recommend him.
