Formed in 1973 as a family-run business. A&M has since grown to become one of the UK’s largest providers of energy efficiency services working with homeowners, construction firms, local authorities and energy suppliers to make steps to reduce the UK’s carbon footprint. Our annual company turnover is £46m and we have circa 200 employees across the UK. Through our nine branches, we provide coverage throughout the UK and have carried out insulation measures on over 1million properties and premises since we were established in 1973. All branches are individually managed by an experienced Branch Manager, who has a diverse team working beneath them to ensure that the highest quality services are provided from taking the initial enquiries, to delivering our services within the homes and businesses of our customers. In addition, all A&M branches are ISO 9001 and PAS 2030 accredited. Approximately 1000 homes are insulated by A&M every week. A&M has been carrying out work for house builders & RSL’s for over 30 years, during which time we have developed an enviable reputation as a contract/commercial installer with a strong customer base. We also specialise in insulation of commercial buildings such as schools, hotels, hospitals, police stations & children centres. We provide a wide range of measures & services for our long-standing Local Authority and Housing Association clients who enjoy substantial improvements to the overall efficiency of their properties. We have also developed significant and sustainable relationships with all obligated energy retailers.

James Butler also trades as CGS Landscapes. He paved my driveway with poor quality slabs in September 2024 blaming the manufacturer and not himself. More broken slabs has been replaced by him 3 times in 6 months. He has refused to respond to my calls. He texted back calling me. STUPID when I texted him to say I will report him to RatedPeople and the authorities. More slabs broke 2 days ago. Sent him the picture. He simply texted back: MOVED TO DEVON NO LONGER WORKING. Please don’t hire James Butler.

James, was polite and professional. He checked our main roof both back and front. Whilst the main issue was with the roof at the front of the house. He explained what and where the issues were. The quote he gave was reasonable for a complete roof replacement. James and his crew worked flatout to strip down and replace tiles, felt, battons and insulation of a two story Terrenced house over a two day period including cleanup. Great job i would consider using them again.

We are very pleased with the work that was done. There was a quick response to the job that day via a telephone call. An appointment was scheduled for a couple of days later and the work was started early that day & completed that same day. The workers were on time, polite, knowledgeable and proficient. They promised to make a visit a week later to remove the supportive structure and did exactly so yesterday. I am very pleased with the work and their professionalism.. i highly recommend them. Well dodone
