Friendly and honest lads. Martin came looked at the roofing job told me what was needed and how much. A few days later they came and did the job found a few more faults but put these right as well at no extra cost. Great work, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Will be using them again.

They arrived on time and did a good job overall. However, I was disappointed that the final charge was higher than the agreed fixed price, despite all the job details being provided upfront. The contractor was also invited to view the site before quoting, so the unexpected increase felt unfair
Alton Services built a 2-storey extension for us and we were so delighted with their work they went on to refurbish our bathroom, completely refurbish my mother's new home and build a conservatory. Their range of ability, attention to detail and work ethic has been really reliable. They turned up every day all day and nothing was too much trouble. Admin terrible, missed first appointment. Made excuses and eventually arrived about 3 weeks late. Covid-19 was the excuse offered for missing second appointment. I had to give source for concrete posts. They worked hard, but the standard of their work is not great when it comes to cutting panels to fit non standard gaps. They are very pleasant on site, but once I paid them in full, bad mistake, they have not replied to my email requesting that they correct problems. It will be simpler to do it myself.
The restyling of the garden was discussed and planned. Garden slabbing front and back and back fence of a good standard. Front wall was built and then waited several months for railings which then had to get someone else to do; at much greater cost as front wall was found to be very poorly built, and dangerous as fell down with very little pressure applied. No response to email or message regarding this. Disappointing as feel was more than accommodating when garden work being done
