Placed advert Thursday. Contacted same day by Mike with a view to coming out and quoting next day. Came on time priced the job on Friday and arranged to start work on the Tuesday. Mike worked with his son Silas. What a really nice pair. Genuine, polite and got on with the job even though I asked for a few tweaks along the way. Both very old school and worked at their own pace - happy with work carried out and will use them again. Reasonable price too.

FANTASTIC, always turned up when he said he would. I was so happy with the job on my conifers I had him back to re-turf my lawn. Very hard working and very tidy in his work. If you want a job doing well and at a very competitive price Ken is your man. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

This gentleman met me on site a few minutes early, looked at the job and got on with the plastering in a clean,pleasant, professional manner. Having observed his competence on the initial job, I did not hesitate to offer him further work which he also completed. I have no hesitation in recommending him and will certainly contact Steve again when the two shower rooms are ready for tiling. His pricing is competitive and offers good value for money. Steve radiates the air of a competent man that can be left to get on with it ....and that is exactly what he did. Thankyou for an excellent site and thank you Steve for doing a great job. My experience of working with Joe has been entirely positive and probably the most competent tradesperson I have used. The reasons: communicated well, gave me options and advice, arrived at agreed time, a great finish to the wall, left things clean and tidy. Joe is a real credit to his profession and sets an example for others. I have no hesitation in recommending Joe and he will definitely be my go to person for any future plastering/rendering. Petru and his crew were great, he kept me informed of what he was doing and when. The place looks great. He was well in budget and went the extra mile for me. He was consistently friendly and polite. He kept an eye on the project the whole time and was always prompt to reply to any queries I had.

I can't rate Evans&Son; (Paul) highly enough. After meeting Paul only once I was comfortable enough to be able to handover the keys to the house (which is 200 miles away from where I now live) and let Paul get on with the job (painting all walls and woodwork, replacing carpets and floor tiles, and general maintenance jobs around the house). Paul did a fantastic job, was very competitively priced, and stuck to price originally quoted.

J Stubbings contacted me within seconds of posting the job and agreed to come the next day to give me a price. The price was very good value compared to prices i had received from local tradesman. On the day of the job John was spot on time. The work was completed to a high standard and John was very clean and tidy along the way. I would not hesitate to have John again.

The guy's did an excellent job refurbishing my house. From the new bathroom, Kitchen, painting, plastering etc.... No job was out of there reach, i wouldn't hesitate to use them on my next project.
