I used A & A to quickly reburbish an overgrown garden in one of my rental properties. I decided on the low maintenance route, lifting grass and laying chips and having the deck refurbished. From initial point of contact to completion of the project I was delighted to find a reliable and trustworthy contractor. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company for any project large or small. This contractor will be my first contact for all other projects. I could not recommend them enough. Well done.

Joshua and his team did a great job on both my front and back garden—trimming hedges, cutting back bushes, and weeding throughout. Communication was prompt from the start, and the quote based on images was spot on. They worked efficiently, were professional, cleared all waste, and left everything clean and tidy. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again.

Very easy to deal with. Came to assess the job, advised on different options and provided a competitive quotation very quickly. Robert and his team started and finished the job within agreed timescales and left the site tidy at the end of each day. We are delighted with the quality of the workmanship and the finished job. I want to express my disappointment with Charles from JnC Groundworks. I had written the review with the promise that he would return the following Monday to remove all leftover materials (which was part of the contract). This did not happen. Someone arrived over 2 months later to clear the leftovers but still left 2 pallets on my front lawn! This pitiful attempt to clear the leftovers only happened after many emails and phone calls, which he tried to ignore! DON'T pay until the job is FULLY completed!!

Lee and his team did a great job on replacing our roof - scaffolding was up and everything renewed within a few days. Communication was good and we got updates about when the work was happening and when the team would be arriving. They worked almost without stopping each day even though it was freezing weather, left everything tidy and disposed of waste, and showed us pictures of progress and the completed roof. Really happy with their work and it's good to have peace of mind with a big job done.

Although the conifer hedging was cut back the site was left untidy in spite of being asked to remove as much of the debris as possible as i was just out of hospital having had knee surgery and therefore unable to do any bending.I even supplied bags to put it in. I have been in touch with the company a couple of times since and each time get empty promises of 'coming to fix it at the weekend'.Disappointing since I had a few friends who would have been interested in using the service..

Jim and his son worked on my roof and gutters , Did a really good job they are genuine tradespeople they explained everything that needed to be done and give me a accurate quote they came to my home when they said they would and got on with the job, pleased with the workmanship, would certainly have no hesitation in using McMillans again!

Still has not finished our decking, after starting in December 2019. We have paid MrMackie for all the materials and they have not arrived
