I was really pleased with their initial work, landscape design and quoting. The agreed a period to come and do the work, then rushed to complete the work in a shorter period (I expect due to another job). After the had completed (and paid for) we began to notice issues - particularly in relation to wobbling patio stones and pot holes in the lawn. We contacted them on a number of occasions and they stated that they would come and relay the patio stones but they never did.

The decking is sagging and moves every time you walk on it which we have to do to get out of the garden. The step also rocks when walked upon. The wood was left cracked in areas and there are some miss cuts. The concrete was undertaken during torrential rain and has resulted in constant dusting being trailed onto the decking and subsequently into the house. The concrete ran down the length of the driveway and cannot be removed. Phoned to complain 3 weeks ago and heard nothing further.

They were punctual, polite, and trustworthy, completing the job — detailed pointing, brickwork replacement, installing a new gutter and downpipe, repairing a wooden patio door, and tiling. All work done to a high standard with quality materials. He provided valuable advice, and the site was left clean. Not a landscaper just a garden cleaner and over priced! Broke my tool by hacking at the tree and branches and told me that the ground was too hard!! Little did he know I watched him from window. First day worked hard second day spent 3 hours not a full days job too lazy and only good at cutting grass. Does not have the right tools for the job.

I am extremely pleased with GHS who recently renovated our patio. The existing concrete slabs had sunk in many places, producing an uneven surface that ponded when it rained and caused a trip hazard. GHS lifted the slabs, compacted the underlay and relaid the slabs on a new mortar base, giving us a smooth patio without trip hazards which now drains effectively. GHS carried out the work quickly and efficiently and were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. I highly recommend them.

5 Star Fencing was absolutely superb - came to site on the day agreed, replaced the three bowed fence panels with ones of very good quality and painted them to match the rest of the fence, and did a small repair on an existing panel - Callum of 5 Star Fencing was an absolute pleasure and left the site (my garden) all clean and tidy.
