Poor communication and lack of project management skills and honesty leaves something to be desired of this company. A 4 week job turned into a 16 week job due to the fact that the sub contractor was not released monies to purchase materials although I paid a hefty 30% deposit and further 30% before up to roof level. I would recommend Carl the sub contractor that did the work but wouldn't recommend CM Masonry. The sub contractor did a good job thankfully so the end result is good.
HTB Construction is a family business. We undertake all aspects of building work, i.e. full renovations, conversions, extensions, bricklaying, plastering, pointing and GRP roofing. We also have plumbers and electricians if required to sign work off. Everybody that we have working with us have been with us for a long time and are 100% trustworthy. -10 Do not use a guy from Grimsby called Ryan. Felted small shed roof, very few roofing tacks used and was not sealed down. No removal of old felting only patched up. Blown off within TWO Weeks was a total Botched Up Job, quoted £500 then told needed another £200 after job done...Just taken advantage of an elderly man.
Change in spec of my job which neither of us anticipated was dealt with without issue or complaint. Good guy and I would definitely use Wayne again. Recommended.

Sadly I've had to change my rating as I'd no longer recommend. While this initial job was done well, I then contracted Joe to lay some laminate flooring in the same room. After buying (and charging me for) enough beading to cover all the edges of the room, he left without laying it all and took the rest with him so I couldn't even do it myself. Aside from that, there were other issues with the floor. Tried to get him to come back several times but doesn't show up when agreed and is ignoring my calls.

I was waiting for Morgan to come back and finish the job, as he promised. The workmanship was not professional at all. I've had to pay out more money to bring it to standard. I paid him in good faith that he would be back to finish the job, but no show. The doors are not level, the frame wasn't attached to the wall. The plaster is cracking and not even. The ceiling plaster boards were just knocked up over my coving. Was very laxed on days to come work. The list can go on. Not happy
