The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!

We have an old cast iron bath and had the bath panels to fix to it. We didn't feel confident doing it ourselves as it was quite a tricky job. Lukasz took time to get the measurements and the cutting was perfect. Looks great. Also we asked him to fix the old original bathroom door which has never closed shut. He put new hinges and shaved it and now it shuts. He did some plastering too. It took a day and charged his day rate (£150) plus a little extra for the hinges, plaster and frame. Great job!

I at first thought they'd done a REASONABL job but the finish was not brilliant. As my husband is disabled everything had to be safe and secure. One of the things I stressed was the toilet seat. On first use the seat fell off so I contacted AJR to get a better seat. Tony rang with a price at approx £50 + and I agreed. Since then I've not heard from him. Despite calls to also say my husband is struggling to flush the toilet. HE KNOWS MY SITUATION YET HAS CHOSEN TO IGNORE. I SPENT A LOT OF MONEY. DO NOT TRUST

Highly recommend What a fantastic team Gary and Lewis are. Not only did they do a great job in our utility room, but they were on time, polite, courteous and incredibly tidy. Jon gave the best price compared to many other tradespeople. His work was also of sufficient quality although we had some major leaks due to bad seals. He came outside of work hours and fixed the issue for us. Removing one star because he cracked and broke some tiles and he couldn't fit the replacement tiles.
