We have taken on major contract works in the past by helping renovate the Hilton hotel in Nottingham and Brighton. But we would also go out and fit a curtain pole for an elderly lady or gent. Did not turn up in the morning. I had to travel to meet this tradesman as I don’t live in the property. He didn’t bother to let me know he is not coming. After texting him he said “ Am so sorry i didn’t update my diary can i come see you tomorrow morning ?” When I said he is not getting a good feedback then he’s changed the excuse to “daughter unwell”, certainly a lie. I’ve seen his FB business page so he is a bathroom fitter and joiner?!! I think I’ve had a lucky escape. Avoid.

Friendly and professional service. Not having recommendations of tradesmen is hard. 'Rated People' allowed me to find David from DBF Handyman and Building Services. David has been nothing but superb. Friendly and helpful. Taking his time to allow us to explain what we wanted and then for him to explain how he would do it. All the work carried out by him is of the highest standard. the worst job ever i have seen i hired anthony as a professional to do some finishing touches on venetian plaster but he didnt do it he took a deposit then he disappeared for three weeks telling stories that he was sick or he didn't have time when he finally came to do the job he did it even worse than before came with one can of filler and made my walls a ugly color arguing that they couldn't be done better didn't return the deposit! i don't recommend it to anyone, do not pay deposit this person

Adam had literally called and came to see me in within an hour of me posting the job up., He quoted and came back the same afternoon., although he came across some challenges by the previous workerleft he dealt with it fast and efficiently. Did not waste any time, left everything very tidy and even did an extra wee add on job for me. Reliable - priced excellently., Lovely guy, did what he promised in no time.
