Reliability? Communication? Completion of work in a timely manner? Quality of work? Customer Service? Cleanliness and respect for property? The job is done (in a fashion), but I am not convinced it will last or that the guarantee (which I apparently have) is worth anything. Unfortunately I could not recommend. I should not feel like I need to have a strong male physically present to deal with a tradesman (IYKYK). I will attach photos of evidence if I can, so you can see for yourself.

Tom, arrived on the time and on the date agreed and provided a first class service rebuilding our dry stone wall as i had major concerns the wall was about to collapse on to our vehicle. The quotation was fair price for all the hard work that tom put in to making sure the project was completed to a very high standard. We have our own architects and structural engineers who provide all the required details for extensions, conversions and new builds. APL also organise all site visits with building inspectors to give customers peace of mind and a hassle free service. At M&A we use our own 3D CAD system in order to design any new kitchens we are to supply and install, we can include these in to Architecht plans to give you a visual of the room once completed. All our kitchens are high standard and all our doors we use are FIRA gold approved, we mainly use painted doors but if you want a more of a budget door we can use the vinyl wrap doors. About myself: I have been in the Joinery and building industry for 20 years with a huge vast experience in all trades and I know what to expect from various tradesmen from a finishing point. All electrical work and gas work is all completed by approved and qualified tradesmen. My main trade is joinery but in the 20 years of being in the building game I have gained the experience in each aspect in the building game which has its advantages when project managing a job whilst being on site working. Martin is certainly the most honest, realistic and trustworthy trades person I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. We’ve renovated a few properties over the years dealt with dozens of tradespeople, both good and bad and Martin sits at the top of the good pile. He had a passion for the job, charged a reasonable price and showed knowledge and commitment. He deals with all sorts of outside jobs and I will get him back in a heartbeat to deal with anything we need on our land or home. He’s a legend.

Nigel visited us to assess the work and quote for the job. He turned up on time and was pleasant to deal with and answered all our questions. He also contacted us prior the starting the job to arrange a date and time. Unlike other tradespeople he turned on time on each of the 3 days it took to complete the work. The work was of a high standard and we were kept informed of progress as the work progressed. I have already began a discussion with Nigel regarding another project.

A good builder is always in demand, and it's true! I had to wait a little while for AtoZ Cheshire but they were worth the wait. Piotr and his team were polite, efficient and cleaned up everything so well that I hardly noticed they were there. This was a tricky job to replace a kitchen and home office floor after a flood. Lots of tricky corners and unusual cuts. The floor has been laid immaculately. I am delighted with the result and would highly recommend them!!
