We are a period/listed property restoration company. We specialise in traditional materials and methods. Often our work is to Identity and rectify damp issues which arise from the use of modern materials on period properties where breathable materials are imperative for the buildings features and characteristics to function. Once the breathability of the property is compromised damp issues will occur. We offer damp assessments for your property with a full report to guide you in the right direction eradicating current and future damp issues. Our assessments cost: £140 including guidance and a full report which details the source(s) of the damp & mould, how to eradicate the issues. - Lime rendering & plastering with horse hair. - Lime pointing. - Masonry repairs. - Paint removal using the Thermatech hot steam cleaning system. - Brick/stone feature walls. - lime wash - Breathable Painting. - lime plaster/render We often work with conservation officers from the authorities to ensure our works are of the highest standards.

I was contacted by many people for the rendering job I needed doing on the house but Owen from Omni Drylining stood out from the others on his approach and explanation of what the job needed. Once they started the work, Owen and his team were superb. Really personable, professional and tidied up as they finished work each day. Owen kept me in the loop and turned up as planned. Mark of MJWD provided a competitive quote for the refurbishment of my garden which involved re-fencing, soil removal, full paving and associated drainage and also creation of steps. While carrying out the work, amendments were needed to achieve the desired end result which required additional materials and labour - these were discussed and competitive quotes for these additional works agreed as we went along. Mark and his team provided an excellent standard of workmanship and I am happy to recommend.

We got 6 walls newly plastered. 2 of the walls had unevenness. Very poor workmanship with evidence to back up claims. Adam has paid some money back to us to fix the issue but it should of been done properly in the first place.
