He's spot-on for electrics, but he was outstanding on all-round trading works, excelling also on painting, flooring and plumbing, even if a fully busy schedule during the working week and thus committing flexibly during his extra time on evenings and weekends. James was hired to fit 5 internal doors. It took him 3 days, and the work was careless, lazy, and full of mistakes, excuses, lies and frustration. He blamed the doors, house, locks, anything but himself. I wasn't going to leave a review, but after he left I was able to fix —by myself— issues that he tried to gaslight me into believing it was the best possible outcome. I suspect his "27 years of experience" was made up, and the problem was nothing but absolute lack of skill, care and work ethic.

I could cry. Don't pick him, I coukd have done this better myself. This man caused a weeks worth of mess for us to put right. He got paint on windows, tiles in kitchen and all surfaces in kitchen. Terrible decorater... We wasted a week and our money. He does like a tea break though, so if you do have him. Keep a close eye on him.

I appreciate his clear and detailed communication on job needed, options provided, and consulting on fittings and materials.
