I’m revising my original 5-star review after the repair failed 6 months later. While I got a prompt response to my initial warranty request, a fortnight was then wasted where my suggestions for dates went unanswered and an appointment was finally set only to get cancelled on the day. A request to specify a time for a new appointment has likewise been ignored. After 3 weeks without a bathroom light, I’m now paying for a repair with a new contractor rather than continue chasing such unreliable service.

He made a very challenging job look easy and did some extra things for me that weren’t included in the quote, without charging extra. This firm sub contracted out the work to a local plumber/carpenter who I found difficult to contact. I needed a new shower as he said he couldn`t repair it. I selected the cheapest one as I am upgrading my bathroom later this year. He couldn`t get it straight away so I selected a dearer one which he fitted. He then told me he was going away the next day. If I hadn`t selected the dearer one I would still be waiting! There is some moisture leaking but I really don`t want him again so I`ll wait and see.
