Peter and his crew arrived in good time, started work promptly (overboarding and plastering a slightly cracked ceiling), did a good job and finished earlier than I expected them too. One spontaneously offered help when my partner was moving some item. I selected them partly on the basis that Peter could come and see the job and meet me (rather than just sending someone unseen to to do the job on Friday). They were a cheerful and friendly bunch, and I'm happy to give them 5 stars.

I had 3 jobs completed by Dan and his team: 1. Trimming 15 metres of Leylandii hedge 2. Removing a large patio, laying a sub base and membrane, with gravel overlay 3. Replacing stock fencing, installing privacy fencing and a picket fence All 3 jobs were expertly completed within the timescale, and to fair agreed costs, communication was excellent, all debris taken away, and the results are brilliant. I highly recommend Wilts and Hants and the team.

Keiran and his gang at Smith & Sons are a total disgrace. He demanded full payment upfront (which clearly funded his honeymoon), did the bare minimum, then vanished. No return, no refund, no shame. They’ve taken our money and run – pure theft, in my view. They hide behind multiple business names, which reeks of dishonesty and likely tax dodging. Untrustworthy. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Avoid them like the plague. I wouldn’t let them near a garden with a bargepole.

Neil gave his advice when we asked for it, responded to messages quickly, arrived on time and really friendly. Last minute I had to contact Neil to see if he had a particular colour trim and he brought round 2 different types and was very accommodating. Booked for an urgent job, after he replied quickly to my advert. Said he could be with me first thing the next day. During the next 24 hours he gave four excuses for not being able to attend, each with a commitment to another appointment. Never showed up. Traders like this take opportunities away from legitimate businesses. I booked another electrician after wasting time waiting for this one.

James was fantastic to deal with. Communication was always clear, and he did as he said he would. Our job expanded as he got to the source of the issues; he was transparent in explaining this and the added costs to fix the problem. He's an exceptionally hard worker, committed to doing a good job, and he was also able to arrange a tiler whose work we were happy with. We appreciate that James made himself available after other jobs to complete the work ASAP. We'd be keen to use him for any future jobs.
