I have been involved in the electrical mechanical sound A/V and general building trades for over 35 years. I have recently joined this web site and have found some conversion work pictures for a garage conversion. General building, slate patio, blockwork, window installation, patio door installation, wiring for electronic smart shower, plumbing, Velux window installation, tiling, carport, etc Also some recent garden fence replacement work... I started out after leaving college with electrical installation and appliance repair, auto electrical work, alarm fitting, mainly fault finding and rectification with a strong sense of where problems are possible and the personality of being able to sort most issues out quickly and with the least time and disruption for all parties involved. Previous work has included listed buildings, churches, The bank of England, M O D Whitehall, country estate maintenance and security. A large volume of diverse experiance in many trades. I am extremely neat and tidy in my work, and have very high standards. I have worked for the Royal Household designing and fitting lighting for the queen in St James palace. Booked Christian for carpet fitting and paid a £200 deposit. He failed to turn up on the agreed day while I was waiting at the property, then sent vague, last-minute excuses about damaged materials. Phone calls were ignored and communication was evasive. Confidence lost due to the lack of professionalism and reliability, totally wasted my day, and I had to cancel and now pursue recovery of the deposit. Very poor experience — proceed with extreme caution.”

He said he could do work done 2 days just up and left and said he would text me Thursday and would come on Friday and now I am left with work half done as he said he has right to council contract at any time so if I was anyone on here I would not hire as he is a con man I have contacted trading standers as he as used all my pipes and half done work and now saying we have threaten him he meant to have recorded but can't prove it so I would not hire as he told me he could do it but cause another job has call

Can not rate Steve highly enough, The standard or work was superb, his approach to the project was professional and very organised. The project it self was a complete renovation consisting of creating a large open plan kitchen / diner and family space. this involved a complete relocation of kitchen which not only came in on time but also in budget. The Family is thrilled with the finish and enjoy living in the space. Brilliant.

James did a really good job for the house we’d just bought. The floors were all painted and really ugly, and he sanded them back to the wood and left them looking really nice. He even returned free of charge to fix a problem of “grain raising” which had left the boards a bit rough to the touch and occurred a few days after he’d finished, due to moisture in the space. He was friendly, considerate and empathic, a really pleasant guy to have around and to be involved in our renovation project.
