Over all, an excellent job was done although due to poor weather, a three day job became a three week one. Several unseen problems became apparent during this work, but everything was explained and reasons given for delays / further expense. Time keeping wasn’t great as on many occasions they’d arrive after 09:00 and would have gone by 16:00 at the latest. However, very satisfied with the result.

Eugene was organised, professional and friendly as were all of his team. He organised all the relevant building regs applications etc, I didn’t have to get involved, and made sure I was happy with everything before he left. No mess left behind, up front and honest, a refreshing change to my previous experiences of the building trade. Eugene is very knowlegeable and comes up with some great ideas. Highly recommended and will definitely be using Eugene and his company again in the not too distant future.

Gareth is a true craftsman and a gentleman to boot. He was with us for 6 weeks and did the exterior and ground floor to a very high standard, including some extremely demanding wallpapering. H Stringer were extremely good! They worked around a tight timeframe with other building work going on at the same time. Even though they were not obliged to under their quote - they constantly made small and large repairs, reskimmed surfaces and other work to ensure that the overall decoration was a perfect finish! I will use them for all of our future commercial and domestic work without a second thought.
