Hello all, my name is Steve, and i am a time served electrician of over 40 years experience. My son Edward has trained as a plasterer. My partner Sara is a very accomplished designer and painter and decorator. I have worked for the electricity board for many years and have industrial and home electrical nstallation experience. Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. Some of the work was good like the trimming of the shrub and bushes. The weeding was hopeless as they have not been pulled up by the roots and some of it was not touched at all. Some of my plants were trampled on and the rose stems forcefully pushed through the obelisk were broken in their hurry to finish by five. A totally wasted exercise asking David to do the job. He responded quickly to visit, assess and offer a pricing. Gave exact date for starting the job and then drifted off without any updates On chasing complained he'd been let down,wanted money - pithy excuses. Not to be trusted
I run a small, personal service. Taking pride in workmanship and customer satisfaction. My team and I have decades of experience covering almost every aspect of the building and building maintenance industry.
The job took over 6 months to complete due to restricted working hours approx 10am to 3pm. No team of specialised workers but casual labourers. Good electrician. Poor plumber and tiler. Good design ideas but little to back it up. 3 years on I have had endless plumbing issues that have cost me to put right. Would not employ again nor recommend.
Didn't turn up on the first day but, did manage to complete the job within timescale. In saying that, one radiator was left hanging off the wall and pipes in a bedroom left uncovered. Eventually after months they returned to re hang the radiator, unsuccessfully, it still is hanging off the wall. One year on and despite having a one year guarantee and first boiler service free, we cannot get them to return our calls. Absolutely appalling service, that has caused us huge distress.
