Simon was very efficient and supplied a full quote and other references on request. He did the job at the time he specified and was left unsupervised with access to the home. The specific job was labour intensive and it was all carried out with minimal disruption or mess. Scheduled to come to my property the next day to fix boiler. Assured me that he would appear. Took me 4 hours by coach to come to my property in London next day only to be told that he could not do it. Very unethical. Cost me £500 per day time off as an IT contractor + £70 national express coach return ticket and waste of time. This guy named Daniel quoted slightly lower than others but I guess you get what you pay for - I would not use sole trader like this next time due to how unprofessional they can be.

He turned up and surveyed the job very professionally, stated he would quote within two days, but I never heard back from him. Very irritated.

The previous review was done under duress with Billy standing over me. The truth is, he disappears for considerable lengths of time (days), leaves equipment behind so you can't hire anyone else, switches his phone off so you can't contact him during this time and has the attitude of a bully. He removed our toilet to fix a blocked pipe but then left it so it wasn't fixed back to the floor properly and moved around, when we were in the process of selling our flat, with surveyors coming round. Not recommended.

We are a local church in London providing food bank and coffee mornings twice a week for the homeless. We requested for a complete repair of Fibre-glass roof which had licks Eclipse Roofing took £4000.00 pound for a complete repair and gave us 20 year warranty. The roof still lick and we have water everywhere. Fibre Matt was not installed the old Fibre not removed.presently we have had to suspend the coffee mornings because of licks to roof. We have consulted our lawyers and Citizen advise bureau.

After we decided on the price, he decided that he was not going to clean the gutters on both sides of the house even though that was his main argument for such a high price

Good: Arrived on time and waited for me because I was late, cleared the drain ... at last we can have baths again! Very personable chap, not afraid to get his hands dirty! Knows his drains! Other: Cost a little more than I had offered (£80 I had offered £50) but he was here longer than expected. Also there was some sewage/dirty water left over on the patio that we had to clear up after he had left which wasn't pleasant.

James was hired to fit 5 internal doors. It took him 3 days, and the work was careless, lazy, and full of mistakes, excuses, lies and frustration. He blamed the doors, house, locks, anything but himself. I wasn't going to leave a review, but after he left I was able to fix —by myself— issues that he tried to gaslight me into believing it was the best possible outcome. I suspect his "27 years of experience" was made up, and the problem was nothing but absolute lack of skill, care and work ethic.
