Very pleased with newly installed sliding patio doors. The 2 gentlemen who installed it, were polite,friendly and helpful. They left the area clean and tidy. There was a slight problem with the lock, and they duly reported it to Louis Harbison. He came today to replace it but the barrel of the lock seems ok now. He is keeping the replacement barrel in case I have any more trouble. I would recommend this company for any work to be done

Vlad responded quickly to our request for a door to be fitted. He was very obliging and flexible and his work was of a top standard. The job he carried outbfor us was carpentry work, but I understand he undertakes tiling, painting and decorating also. As a full time firefighter I compliment this role by being a fully qualified plasterer with certificates up to NVQ level 3. I also hold a teaching qualification in plastering. I pride myself on excellent customer service and working to a very high standard. I have been plastering for over 25 years and originally started out working for my fathers company doing a time served apprenticeship before setting up my own business. (L.M plastering and building) My name is Laurence Maisey and I have been in the building trade for over 12 years. During this time, I have worked on many projects ( both in the UK and abroad) which include new builds (some large developments) and extensive renovation work on older properties. I have also worked in the social housing industry on a Reactive Response team. My expertise lies in plastering, but I am also a multi-skilled engineer and can turn my hand to almost any building work. I have many references from past employers who will verify the fact that my work is to a very high standard and that I am a clean and tidy worker. Laurence’s workmanship was excellent:. The job was to skim a heavily Artexed ceiling and to feather in at the edges to avoid changing the coving and yet leave a nice edge profile visible on the coving. I waited to post a rating so that I could see the ceiling dry and apply a mist (dilute) coat of paint to the plaster. That reveals any issues. I’m pleased to say the quality is excellent -no problems at all and will be working with Laurence in the future.
