Skirting board replacement. Nice guy, arrived on time. The work could have been neater, and i did get involved and help do some of the work to tidy things up a bit, we revisited some parts of the job and did them again, to be fair its an old house with wonky walls which complicated things, and it was a big job. He is hard working and and very accomodating, and whenever i asked him to change something he did. Overall i would use him again

Seemed keen, didn’t show up, no contact. Chased him, said he had a car crash so I checked he was alright and rearranged for today. Again no reply to my texts, no warning he wasn’t coming, so I’ve wasted a week having believed he was coming on two occasions. Lack of communication shows he’s not bothered apparently.

The workmanship was of a very high quality, but the thing that really stuck out was how reliable and trustworthy Jay was. Jasy is a very pleasant gentleman and I will certainly be using him for any future joinery jobs. Menzies is very friendly and helpful. He gave us honest opinion that door beyond economic repair which I appreciated. However, he did improve the locking mechanism so that we can lock the door properly whilst awaiting new door. Would recommend.
