I have been in this business since leaving school, and intend to continue while I still can because I have a 3 year old daughter at a rather late age. In the 1970s when I started most people were doing domestic furniture in this trade, I however was trained on government department jobs as well as domestic jobs. In those days most polishing jobs were dark traditional colours, by the late 80s to early naughties they were more natural colours and more recently lighter than natural. Perhaps you require fitted furniture or architectural joinery changes, such as doors and frames to blend with carpets or curtains. Send a photo and let's see what can be done. DO NOT USE THIS PLUMBER! Andy MacClay trading as FRPM was engaged to fit a bathroom for a lady in her 90's. Although personable, he did an appalling job and left the poor lady with raw sewage leaking and a dreadful smell. She was very distressed for months and it cost over £1800 to put the work right. He has since stopped answering his phone and does not respond to any communication.
