Growing up, we were immersed in the building trade through our father’s work. Tom in particular, would assist our father on weekends, serving as his labourer. As well as helping home owners on a regular basis, we specialise with holiday let management focusing on package bundles of cleaning, maintenance, and health and safety compliance to streamline processes to allow owners more freedom and let go of the day to day. Plumbing charges are as follows: Minimum charge per visit excluding parts is £155.00 including call out (no vat) Our minimum hourly rate chargeable is £45.00 (no vat) Minimum Call Out Fee £95.00 (no vat) After 6pm and Weekend Call Out Fees Minimum Charge: £180.00 (no vat) Replacement of toilet siphon Min Charge £280 inc. parts and fittings (no vat)

Rob came round really quickly and made an excellent job - came back again to sort out more problems despite having to come all the way from Weston super Mare. He is very friendly and helpful and the price was much less than I thought. I have now engaged him again to do a complete central heating system in our new house.

There is no key on any shelf and the lock had to be changed, on completion of a job you should return any keys to the owner directly. You also booked the job for Thursday morning and did not arrive at HOWDENS until late well after the agreed time when they were expecting you first thing in the morning as was I at the location. The job was booked for Thursday and was not completed until late Saturday afternoon. It was also booked by a third party as well and not the actual workman.

Lee booked me in to do the work on 3 occasions over a period of 2 weeks and didn't turn up for any of them! I tried contacting the office but nobody was answering the phone, and even more frustrating, the answerphone wouldn't accept any messages. Lee did apologise and promised to ring me this Monday to sort it out - guess what? He hasn't rung me. Totally untrustworthy.

I didn't have the work done. They came across as unprofessional and pushy. I can't coment on the quality of the work but I can coment on the quote process. Just verbal price. When I pushed for an email quote I just got the price again and little else. Nothing about what they were going to do as part of the job. I expect better. The last few tradesmen I have had on Rated have been excellent full written quotes and professional from the start. These guys even had to ask if they could borrow a tape measure!
